Kimber micro 9 vs sig p938.
I have 150 trouble-free rounds through my P938, so far. I chose it over the Micro 9, because the Kimber was more expensive than the SIG, I'm a lefty, and I didn't want to spend another $150 to have an ambi fitted to the Kimber model that I wanted. The Kimber has an internal extractor, the SIG's is external.

All three I had feed and functioned just fine and locked the slide back everytime. I used hertiers 115gr 9mm FMJ. The Kimber is a bit lighter and a tad narrower. It's also a minutely longer. But holding them both, I can see how the P938's six round mag would fit the Kimber (no news on extended mags for the Micro). The P938 just felt like a better gun all around and that’s what I ended up buying. It’s my most often carried pistol because of its size and reliability.

Jul 13, 2017 · After another day at the range, I have concluded that my big hands have a significantly better grip on my Sig P938 when I use their extended magazine. The way the base juts forward (left, in the picture below) provides a perfect rest for my pinky finger, and also tends to jam my fingers closer together when I squeeze the grip. The base plastic needs to be trimmed in order to fit the Micro 9. The 6 round Sig P938 mags are interchangeable and readily available. I spoke to Kimber about Micro 9 magazine availability and they said currently they are holding mags for guns in production, but will have availability shortly (shortly is an unknown timeline).
