It has a godly moveset (that runnng r1) great dex scalling, good range, and the weapon art is realy good along with the bleeding effect. It's moveset is excellent, longish reach, high base dmg/scaling for Dex builds, has bleed AND can be resin buffed, and has an excellent, super adaptable battle art. So I’m started dark souls yesterday and I’ve been playing nearly constantly. It’s epic. I’ve got the uchigatana upgraded to +5, since that is what I’ve read to do. But after that chaos, fire, raw damage etc is overwhelming and I don’t wanna do anything I’ll regret. At the moment I’m not look by for PvP, just complete the game.

There are other katanas such as the black blade which has the highest damage but shortest range (also has a higher strength requirement) or chaos blade with high damage and high ...
